Terms of use

What this site is, what it is not, and what you can expect from it.

Last updated:

This site belongs to Norma's family and exists to raise the funds to rebuild their house and to account for how they are used.

What a gift is

A gift is a voluntary donation to a family. It is not a purchase, it does not entitle you to anything in return, and it is not tax-deductible: the project is not an entity with legal personality.

Gifts are not returned, except for a transfer error that can be shown with the bank receipt.

What the money is used for

On the work on the house: materials, labour, services, tools and transport. Each expense is published on the transparency page with its date, its description and its category.

If money is ever left over from the work, the destination will be published before it is used.

Accuracy of the information

The published figures are updated after reconciliation with the bank, so they may be a few days behind reality. The date of the last reconciliation is always visible.

When a fact has not yet been verified, the section is omitted. This site does not show sample amounts, dates or bank details.

Beware of fake sites

Always check the address of the site before you transfer. If the bank details you see do not match the ones we share on our channels, do not transfer.

We will never ask you for a password, a code from your bank or your card details.

Content

The texts and photographs on the site belong to the family. They may be shared to spread the campaign; they may not be used for commercial purposes.
